Paxon acted as commercial and financial adviser to the Department of Regional NSW and the Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation (RGDC) to undertake a commercial review of the Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct (SAP).
The focus of the Special Activation Precinct (SAP) looked to increase visitation to the region by transforming the Snowy Mountains into a year-round alpine adventure tourism destination, with Jindabyne at its heart.
Paxon reviewed various potential projects to identify those which would be commercially viable with no, or minimal, financial or other support from Government.
Paxon developed various aspects of the SAP Master Planning including the commercial model, development principles, development model, value creation model and funding and financing model.
Paxon also defined the appropriate structure for each catalyst project based on its asset class and the corresponding risk and return profile.
