Paxon acted as financial and commercial adviser for the renewal of the Park Court site to be delivered under a Build to Rent leasehold model by a Community Housing Provider (CHP).
The project is anticipated to unlock the development of 130-plus residential dwellings in Park Court, Eastwood, the site of a decommissioned social housing block. The new homes are set to include 30 to 50 social dwellings, with the remaining to comprise affordable dwellings, targeted towards key workers and private Build to Rent residences.
Paxon assessed the projects procurement model and developed a financial model that covered all capital, operational and financing cash flows. This analysis was supported by a market sounding process, where Paxon led engagement with local CHPs to understand market capability and appetite for participation in such a project. Paxon also provided commercial advice on the procurement process for the approved delivery pathway.
