Paxon acted as commercial and financial adviser to Arts NSW (now Create NSW) on the Carriageworks Stage 2 Development.
Carriageworks is the largest multi-arts precinct in Australia. In 2007, the Evereigh Locomotive Workshops heritage site was developed into a cultural precinct.
Paxon provided the State of NSW with various development options for expansion and additional development of the Carriageworks site.
Paxon’s analysis considered a variety of cultural and entertainment options, including museum, performing arts, food / beverage and general entertainment facilities.

Paxon’s advice allowed Carriageworks to develop a preferred option with minimal Government capital contribution and with no additional recurrent funding from the State.
