Paxon acted as financial and commercial adviser to the Shire of Broome to develop a business case and funding application for a new Town Beach Jetty.
The $12 million development provides a base for boating and fishing in Broome and completes the redevelopment of the Town Beach precinct.
Paxon engaged with community stakeholders to understand potential use and associated benefits of the jetty, quantified social and economic benefits and developed a business case, as well as additional materials to support funding applications under appropriate grant and other funding mechanisms.

Key Outcomes
By utilising the outputs of the business case, particularly the clearly identified and quantified benefits, the Shire was successful in obtaining funding for the redevelopment.
The new 112 metre jetty will allow people to fish from shore and provide recreational boating opportunities, completing the revitalisation of the Town Beach precinct.
