The Role
We are looking for multiple people to join Paxon Consulting Group at the Manager or Senior Manager level within the GCC. Preferred locations are Muscat, Doha and Riyadh and we are also open to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
As a Manager or Senior Manager based in the GCC region, you will be a member of a passionate, supportive market-leading team focused on delivering high quality results and working in partnership with clients to maximize value, mitigate risk and achieve successful transactions.
You will be expected to have:
• Proven experience in providing strategic, commercial and advisory support for PPPs, utilities and infrastructure projects;
• Practical and technical expertise across all elements of the full PPP project lifecycle within the GCC region;
• Strong understanding of PPPs, concession frameworks, banking conventions, and Project Finance structures;
• 5-10 years’ related experience, ideally gained as a financial / commercial advisor to grantors / procurers; and
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is essential.

Paxon Group requires a Corporate Finance Analyst specialising in financial modelling to join our expanding team.

Job Description
The Paxon team provides commercial and strategic advice to a range of public, private and ASX listed companies across Australia. We play a key role in projects and programs across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, social / affordable housing, corrections, urban renewal and transport.
As a Corporate Finance Analyst you will be focused on undertaking corporate finance engagements delivering the following:
- Financial modelling and analysis, including project finance and three-way financial model development
- Development of discounted cash flow analysis and derivation of discount rates for public and private sector financial modelling and assessment
- Interpretation and analysis of model findings aligned to client and project requirements
- Manipulate and analysis of large, complex datasets
- Application of methods of project financing and requirements for financing to financial model and report development
- Business case and feasibility study writing
- Assessment of procurement and financing options
- Structuring of projects and ventures, including commercial and financial structures and arrangements
- Provision of commercial and financial advice
- Documentation and presentation of results
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have between 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role. Candidates with degrees in Law, Commerce/Economics/Business and Engineering are encouraged to apply. CA/FINSIA or other equivalent qualifications will be highly regarded.
Experience at the Big 4 or Investment Banking organisations would be highly advantageous.
