The Paxon team provides commercial and strategic advice to a range of public, private and ASX listed companies across Australia. We play a key role in projects and programs across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, social / affordable housing, corrections, urban renewal and transport.

As a Commercial Transaction Manager you will be focused on undertaking engagements delivering the following:

- Business case development and feasibility studies including project scope development, strategic thinking to develop lines of enquiry, economic analysis, project objectives and applications for capital project funding
- Transaction management and advisory services
- Project Communications and stakeholder engagement
- Structuring of projects and ventures, including commercial and financial structures
- Analysis and interpretation of data to inform decision making
- Commercial and strategic advice and strategy development
- Policy and process development
- Assessment of procurement and financing options
- Documentation and presentation of results
- Understanding of PPP and collaborative ventures between Government and the private sector.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years' experience in a similar role. Financial and commercial experience in the social infrastructure industry (either in industry or as an adviser) is desirable and candidates with this background or a legal background are encouraged to apply.

The Audit team is seeking a full-time Senior Internal Auditor. The ideal person will work autonomously and report directly to the Associate Director.

Paxon is a recognised preferred panel supplier of internal audit services for the WA State Government’s Departments and Agencies via the Common Use Agreements with the Department of Finance and the Local Government Sector of WA via the Western Australian Local Government Associated (WALGA). In addition to this, Paxon also provide internal audit and risk management services to the private sector.

The Audit team is seeking a full-time Senior Internal Auditor. The ideal person will work autonomously and report directly to the Associate Director.

The role will involve the following:
- Participating in co-outsourced internal audit programs
- Delivering the Strategic Internal Audit Plan on behalf of the client
- Participating in Risk Service engagements and reviews
- Internal Audits, inclusive of development of plans and assessments under the Risk Based approach
- Undertaking field work and review
- Develop relationships with client personnel
- Preparation of Audit Reports, and
- Attendance and presentation at Audit Committee meetings.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have between 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role within a financial audit background.

- Must be degree qualified. CIA, CPA or CA is preferred but not required
- The ability to have an understanding of the Local Government Act and The Financial Management Act of WA
